    题 目: 元认知策略训练对中职学生完形填空 成绩影响的实验研究 An Empirical Study on the Effect of Metacognitive Strategy Training on Cloze Test Performance by Vocational School Students 1.The purpose of the present thesis ★ To help learners become more independent in learning, it is necessary to train learners in their development of metacognition. ★ Research gap: The research in this area are mostly on college students, few on vocational school students. Most research about cloze test performance is confined to the methods of solution and process description instead of metacognitive strategy. ★ So this experimental study intended to explore the feasibility of teaching vocational school students to master metacognitive knowledge, equip them with metacognitive strategy and awareness so as to improve their cloze test performance. 2.Theoretical frameworks 3. Research questions Does metacognitive strategy training have an impact on the students’ (top, middle and bottom students) cloze performance? If so, to what extent? 2) Does metacognitive strategy training enhance the students’ awareness of strategy use? If so, how might the differences be described?
